St Peters Cathedral
Church Anniversary and the annual Feast of St Peter and St Paul was celebrated on 29-June. His Grace Markose Mor Chrysostomos metropolitan lead the service with Delhi diocese metrolpolitan Kuriakose Mor Eusebius gracing the occassion.

Vice Chairman of the Indian Minority Commission, Adv George Kurian was falicitated during the social gathering. Excellence awards were presented to students of class 10 and 12 during the function. Procession remebering St. Peter was attended by hundreds of devotees and accompanied by Vadyamelam and Prayer songs.  >>>>


St Peters Cathedral New Delhi
A brief history of the Cathedral: St. Peter's Cathedral is the spiritual center of Syrian Orthodox Christians in India's capital city, New Delhi. The cathedral is situated in an exclusive and well-laid out site in the heart of the city.

The inaugural service in the unfinished cathedral under construction was held on Christmas Day, 1989 and regular worship commenced on 27th March, 1983. On 28th May, 1990, the Patriarch, H.H. Mor Ignatius Zakka I, designated the church as the "Eastern Cathedral of the Patriarch of Antioch."  Click here to read on....

St Peters Cathedral New Delhi
Mor Eusebius Kuriakose was born in the Chalakkatukudi family in Pazhathottam, Ernakulam Dist. in Angamali Diocese. After completing his edcation from Kothamangalam M.A College and Calcutta Bishops college Mor Eusebius Kuriakose completed his Masters in Theology from Pune, Papel Seminary

On 10-April-1992, he was ordained Deacon by H.G. Severios Abraham and on 03-July-2000 he was ordained Kassisso by H.G. Thimotheos Thomas. On 03-July 2006, on St. Thomas day, he was raised to order of Metropolitan by the spiritual head of the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Church, His Beatitude the Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I at the St. Thomas church in North Paravur.

Mor Eusebius Kuriakose has served as the Metropolitan of Thrissur diocese and most recently had the charge of Kothamangalam region of Angamali diocese.
